Nick Brodnicki
Nick brings a track record of transformational change and a healthy dose of entrepreneurial spirit to his work with nonprofit organizations. The former Executive Director of the American Heart Association in Oregon & SW Washington and Chief Operating Officer for the Portland Rose Festival Foundation, Nick’s career took flight over two decades ago, starting as a consultant, coach and events lead for mission-driven work. With degrees in Education and U.S. History, a master’s in Information and Library Science, and a brief but glorious stint as a professional triathlete, Nick combines a wealth of experience in marketing strategy for businesses across the U.S. with an endless curiosity for finding innovative ways to drive organizational impact.
Nick’s multidisciplinary approach is a blend of strategy, mission, action, and results—kind of like a well-executed relay race, but with more spreadsheets and fewer spandex shorts. His expertise spans corporate relations development, brand strategy, board engagement, and identifying strategic growth opportunities. When he’s not busy making things happen at work, you’ll find him running through the forests of the Pacific Northwest, snuggling with his cats, or exploring neighborhood street fairs with his partner—because, apparently, work-life balance is a thing.
